There are gifts given to men and women that just never fully get opened. We partially look within and then set it aside and forget about it. We ask God for a lot of gifts year round, but we do not acknowledge at times the hidden gifts not seen to men. The gifts He gave us through the Holy Spirit!

Romans states, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12:5‭-‬8 NIV

As I grow in my gifts, I have come to accept that I am definitely going to mess up. I am not going to always live out what I desperately wish I could, but that’s been forgiven too. Mistakes and repentance will be a thing during the journey. Not being perfect or fear of being hypocritical at times can actually make us never take that leap of faith. (It doesn’t mean we should not be discipled or not be living in line with the word of God!!!)

I’ve found comfort and joy in the fact that God knows I am not capable of growing without Him and that perfection isn’t the goal. I found peace knowing that stumbling in pleasing him is so much better than never stepping out or striving to be consistent in him. I’m at peace with baby steps knowing God and the gifts He has given me will make room for me. As I grow in Him, God will open doors.

God is so faithful in seeing a willing heart he will make sure the heart is nurtured. There truly is freedom the more you realize that God is rooting for you. He is ready to equip you with specific friends, family, challenges, and whatever else we need to be molded for growth!

Thank God that we do not do this in our strength at all. The gift he gives us He continues to give us the ability to live out. For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:13 NIV I remind myself of this truth when I am at work or start feeling inadequate in anything!

Well guys I’m still pondering on this but feel free to share your thoughts, more scripture for me to ponder on, and correction in love! ✌️
